Joining the Warchal Luthiers Exclusivity Program (LEP) doesn’t mean you can’t sell other string brands in your workshop — we would never ask for that kind of exclusivity. We believe in supporting a variety of choices for both you and your customers.
Warchal LEP means that our finest products are sold exclusively through selected luthiers and repairers — in person only. These strings are not available through online sales.*
What are the main benefits for you and your customers?
Musicians will need to visit your workshop to purchase these strings. We understand this requires a little more effort on their part, but it comes with significant advantages. They will have the opportunity to receive a professional string change — free of charge, if needed.
You’ll also get a chance to briefly check their instrument, which is always beneficial. Often, there may be minor maintenance work that needs attention, and this gives you the perfect opportunity to discuss it. Importantly, regular early maintenance can prevent serious damage such as developing cracks — saving your customers time and money in the long run.

Within the EU, luthiers can order directly from Warchal, ensuring a healthy and sustainable profit margin.
Outside the EU, LEP products are distributed through selected wholesalers who are committed to keeping their margins lower than usual.

How to apply for LEP?
You can join the Warchal LEP program if you are a luthier providing essential maintenance services such as bow rehairing, fingerboard adjustments, soundpost and bridge setup, crack repairs, etc.
