Characteristics

This metal-core A string was first created as an alternative to the synthetic A string from our Brilliant cello set, out of concern for potential fragility. However, after resolving the durability of the synthetic version, we continued testing the metal-core string with players around the world — and the feedback exceeded all expectations.

The sound, response, and stability proved so impressive that what began as a backup became a favorite. Due to its popularity and performance, we’ve added it to our catalogue as a standalone option.
